Well I must apologize that it's been more than five years since our last email. But I wanted to give everyone a quick update on the status of the band. We have been taking a break from working on any new songs due to us being busy with "real life" problems. But Sal and I have started tinkering around again and have come up with some new music that sounds very promising. So, we have made the decision to go "back in the studio" and try to complete a follow up to our debut CD. At this point it's too early to tell if it's going to a full length album or another E.P.. Right now we just want to try and get as much done and get something in your hands as soon as possible. But this time we want to bring you along for the ride during this adventure.

In these days of online social networking we have finally decided to create Facebook and Twitter accounts for The FLIR. As you may know, MySpace has recently made it very difficult for bands to reach out to their fans. So even though we will keep that account we are trying to phase it's use out. We do have plans to redo our official website but not until the next CD is complete. Until then I am asking everyone to please add us on Facebook and/or Twitter. We will be posting comments, photos, and videos of our progress during the recording of the next CD. I am also going to post previews of our new songs and ask everyone to give us feedback. We want our fans to be directly involved with the production of the new songs. This will help us and influence future decisions we make during recording. Also, it will keep us motivated and focused knowing that there are fans out there that are keeping tabs on our progress.
